Methodology: how SegregujTo works, privacy and practical limitations.

SegregujTo uses a local database of 115 common items. Each entry has a name, synonyms, default stream, preparation guidance and a warning.

Decision order

  1. Safety and hazardous contents.
  2. Waste type and reuse opportunity.
  3. General national stream.
  4. Local rules, schedules and limits.

Limitations

The service does not fetch live council rules and does not replace the local operator. A user may save a local override that changes the default result on that device.
